Head Massage Certification Trainings
I've enjoyed the pleasure of doing head massages since I was a little girl. It has been an amazing full circle journey to now be a national expert on head massage. Whether your looking for table head massage or chair head massage classes, SpaNomad offers you training above and beyond many typical head massage classes. Having come back from a memorable trip to India in 2009, I realized that head massage is not only an art, but a science.
I have spent several years developing a head massage class, Mini-Samadhi, that teaches massage therapists the essence of head massage moves from an Ayurvedic five-element perspective. Having been a polarity practitioner since 1997, a SynergyDance instructor (polarity movement) for six years, and a classically trained competitive pianist for over 14 years, the Min-Samadhi class is a blend of the elements, music and dance. Lots of fun!
There is a Level One class. Day One focuses on the face, head, scalp, ears. Day Two focuses on the neck and shoulders.
The Mini-Samadhi class offers 7 NCBTMB CEUs for each day.
This class presents a choreographed upper body routine. You will learn a 30 minute sequence of moves that address the back, shoulders, neck, arms, face, scalp and chakra balancing. Done seated, this is an excellent class option for chair massage therapists, mobile massage therapists, barbers and hair dressers.
