Post 1 of 3

12 noon at the Albuquerque Airport, New Mexico

When I go on life changing adventures, I really like to be "conscious."  I pick a good book and I like to be clear on my intentions.  For instance, when I moved to Santa Fe in 1997 it was an amazing road trip accompanied by fellow Yalie, Charles Clark.  I inhaled the book Pray All Ways.  That trip involved so many wonderful synchronicities that most importantly included the meeting of my then fiancee Peter...

This time around I'm taking the book Write It Down and Make It Happen and I'm thinking about what I want. I decide that my dominant intent to see what I'm wanting to see.  And what may that be? Ease, joy, wellness.

At one point in my drive down from Santa Fe to Albuquerque four lanes of traffic were at a complete standstill. "Everything works out for me" flashed through my mind, minutes later the traffic cleared. I loved how easy it was to get to the airport.  I love how lightly I packed (a purse and a backpack).  I love how everything I need has been and will be provided for me.

Although I was feeling exhausted at times last night I kept reminding myself how I wanted to leave the house looking beautiful for my family.  I wanted to make everything easy for my husband, Jeff.  And, somehow it all came together.  I accomplished it all and even got a nap in there around 4 am.

 I love adventures!
