I'm about to go on-site to do Indian Head Massage. If you do Champissage or Indian Head Massage, maybe you're interested to know what I take with me. What's In My Indian Head Massage Basket?Since this is a location I go to every week, I know I don't have to bring a chair (otherwise I bring my chair). That would be number one on the list. Next, I always try to bring a pillow for client comfort. Me being me and my business being SpaNomad, I always bring a decorative throw for the chair. SpaNomad isn't SpaNomad without the attention to the details! Wipes would be next on the list, or something to sanitize the hands. I used to bring a spritzer bottle until it started leaking. Can't have that. I also bring a notebook to keep track of people signing up for head massages. I also bring an Indian container (cardboard with 4 standing boxes that fit into it) that holds my gift certificates, business brochures and pens/hair clips, clock, etc... My important knick knacks. I bring a standing magnetic holder that holds my flyer announcing my head massages. Lastly for the beautiful touches that I am known for and that are a significant part of the whole SpaNomad experience, I bring eye-catching umbrella(s), vivid throws/coverings for my table and a sumptuous container to hold my oils in their vivid cobalt glass bottles. I also typically have portable music with me. All of this I carry in a large multi-hued, hand-woven African (no, it's not Indian) basket. I support indigenous crafts and it's important to me that I use as many natural and artistic elements as I can. Much thanks to all of the artisans out there who make what we do that much better! That's what I carry on-site -- plus a smile and an expectation to connect with wonderful people. I know the Indian Head Massage is exceptional and so too is the ambiance that I bring. I hope this helps any of you who are bringing this fantastic service to people near you. Genius is in the details.
