It was after doing my weekly Indian head massages one afternoon at Annapurna Chai House (here in Santa Fe) that I was pondering my life as a SpaNomad. I did indeed feellike a spa nomad, in fact I often traveled all over Santa Fe doing mobile massage. And, as a national trainer of Champissage: Indian Head Massage,  I was traveling with that interest too. Yet, I felt like there was still more to being a true SpaNomad.

And then it struck me that I had to travel to distant lands and study my favorite massage styles in their natural element. My love of indigenous massage had found its perfect counterpart - international massage adventures.

And what better place to start? India. The home of the massage technique that had changed my life profoundly. How could I possibly continue teaching Indian Head Massage and not have studied in the motherland herself?

And that's how this all began. And what a journey its been.
